Sri Lanka is a year round destination

The climate of Sri Lanka is tropical due to its proximity to the equator. With warm temperatures, high humidity and refreshing sea breezes.

The daily temperature in the southwest of the island is between 24 and 32 degrees Celsius, with slightly cooler temperatures at night. The coldest month is the January, the warmest month is the May.

Between November and April there is virtually no rain. The monsoon brings daily cloud-bursts in May/June and September/October. But there is very rarely a day full of rain.

And a heavy monsoon rain feeding the surrounding soil, also can be an absolute wonderful experience.
